They manage speed sooner.
Braking happens before the technical section instead of becoming a rushed reaction inside it.
Fall schedule Six sessions on Mount Fromme for confident blue-trail riders ages 9–13. Build the braking, cornering and trail judgement to make more of their own decisions, with a coach helping them choose the next challenge.

Why Fromme Progression
Braking before a corner, spotting a line through roots, deciding when to walk a feature. We help riders practise the choices that make them more independent on familiar trails and ready for an appropriate next step.
The change you can see
Not because every feature suddenly feels easy. Because braking, line choice and body position are becoming choices the rider can use when the trail changes.

Braking happens before the technical section instead of becoming a rushed reaction inside it.
Looking ahead replaces blindly following the rider in front.
Progress includes knowing when to ride, retry, pause or walk.
Six sessions of deliberate progression
Coaching stays inside the ride. Each session builds from what coaches see, what the group is ready for and what the terrain allows.
These coaching stages develop across six weekly sessions—not a fixed day-by-day itinerary. The pace follows the riders.
Terrain follows readiness: Coaching begins on familiar blue terrain and progresses through suitable roots, rocks, corners, climbs and natural trail sections. Routes change with the group, weather, closures and current conditions. No rider is required to attempt every feature.

How they are coached
The coach does not lecture through the ride. They watch, identify one useful adjustment and create a chance to use it on the trail.
Maximum five riders per coach · Every coach is first-aid trained and criminal-record checked
Quick fit check
